Barcelona: the Modernism

The Route of the Modernism, impelled by the City council and other institutions like the Delegation of Barcelona, was born with the ambition to facilitate to citizens and visitors the discovery of this rich patrimony in a stroll proposal that includes emblematic commerce of prestige, restaurants, museums and the information necessary to understand the génesis and the urban development of the city.

The Route allows to accede to the interior of the main points of interest of the modernismo in the city, like for example the Palau Güell, the Palau of Catalan Music, the Sagrada Família, the Güell park and the Museum of Modern Art. The European Route of the Modernism must like objective extend the equiparables model of the Route of the Modernism from Barcelona to all the European cities with modernist patrimony or styles.
